The Alaska Medical Assistant Society serves as a professional organization dedicated to the education and professionalism of Medical Assistants striving for continued growth and career advancement. It is affiliated with the national organization of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
The Alaska State Medical Assistant Society has one local chapter in Anchorage and members-at-large throughout the state of Alaska, with approximately 200 members state-wide.
